Venus System Razors awarded dermatological accreditation

As many consumers will be aware from its latest high profile television advertisements featuring Jennifer Lopez, the Venus ProSkin Sensitive system razor has been awarded the Skin Health Alliance dermatological accreditation. Gillette Venus approached the Alliance at the beginning of 2012 seeking an independent assessment of the scientific research behind their women’s systems razors. By sharing detailed information on the research, clinical testing, cosmetic ingredients, safety and environmental assessments as well as the technical performance and end benefits of current Venus systems razors – on top of the Venus ProSkin Sensitive razor, the Skin Health Alliance has also accredited all others Venus system razors. Indeed, Venus champion healthy skin with their shaving products, and it is hoped that by gaining the independent Skin Health Alliance dermatological accreditation women would feel further reassured that the science behind the product is both first class and robust.

Speaking of the newly awarded accreditation Venus’s R&D scientist Claire Girdler explained: “Venus is very proud to have been awarded Skin Health Alliance dermatological accreditation; it is fantastic for us to have independent recognition of the robust scientific research and development which is behind every single one of our products. In addition to this, the Skin Health Alliance seal will give women the confidence that our razors will deliver the benefits and end results that they expect.”
